2011 JJR 24 XL

i left my old school BMX projects behind at the moment and spend some time with cromo tubes :)
result: new JJR cruiser frame.
took a test ride today (quickly build the raw frame with old parts).
the bike feels great, lower frame then my previous selfmade JJR cruiser and a very short rear.
just this rider needs a lot of training after not riding a bike regulary (my last race was in 2003)!

Seems real short reran must get use to, how long is the top tube?

yeah the rear is short indeed.
when i rode it today at the track, i could feel the rear is shorter then my previous JJR cruiser (about 3cm).
TT is 56cm and chainstay lenght is 38cm (using 39-17 gear).
rear tubes are typical JJR (check my other JJR frames

)

yeah the lines around the letters are same as White Bear

plenty of room for the chainwheel and tire this time

i can forward the rear wheel even a little more if i want!

I'm not a welder and my frames are welded by a proffesional tig welder.
I design the frame and make all the tubes fit in a jig.
Dropouts are stock bought from Pro Winner some years ago and the same design as on my old alu cruiser.
I've made this frame just to keep my mind of other things and to see if the geometry is ok (rear end).
Maybe I will make a aluminium version in the future....who knows

Saterday another test at another track
