Concentration USA ROCKFORD avec Gerrit Does

Le 7 novembre , le BMX museum en Hollande a ouvert ses portes pour procéder a la remise des prix finale du meeting de Slagharen. En effet nous n' avions pas reçu les trophées car il y a avait eu un petit problème de transport du colis , bref nous avons été invité a venir passé une après midi au museum.nl et bon nombre de passionnés comme vous et moi étaient présents et de discutions en discutions , il est ressorti l' idée d' organiser un voyage a destination du célèbre meeting " Midwest Oldschool BMX Show & Swap " a Rockford aux USA . Gerrit Does ( ex président de l' I.BMX.F ) s'est proposé pour chapeauter l' opération car il possède un carnet d'adresse assez étoffé dans le milieu du BMX . L 'idée serait donc de faire déplacer des collectionneurs européens AVEC leurs vélos a ce meeting maintenant devenu mitique ! Nous avons déjà dévelloper l' idée , reste a la mettre en pratique !...
Gerrit m' a chargé de vous relayer l' information afin de sonder si certains Français serait interessés ? Je vous tiens au jus lorsque je possède plus d info !

Dear friends in BMX,
Just want to confirm we had a very good “mini-reunion” last weekend at the BMX MUSEUM in Megen. 7 out of the 12 collectors present at the Slagharen weekend were present in Megen.
Finally I was able to hand out the BEST BIKE AWARDS to the winners, enclosed the pictures of the three winners and their AWARDS. Christophe did a great job winning 3 awards!
The suggestion was made that day to try to get involved in a Old School Best Bike competition in the USA. I promised to investigate the possibilities through my American contacts. After December 18th 2009 I will have time on my hand, I will be a “pensionado” right then and have time to check things out. Will keep you guys informed and get back to you all ending 2009 or early 2010, o.k.!
